This sterling silver pendant is inspired by the Lenten rose (or winter rose), Hellebore. It is the first flower to bloom in the Spring, sometimes before the snow is gone. The pendant mirrors the double flowers of the Double Queen variety of hellebore found in my garden. It is hand-cut and shaped with delicate stamen.
I chose the name Unatsi because it is the Cherokee word for snow. It is pronounced u-na-tsi.
